在風力發電中，變流器之間，變流器和風機塔之間的數據交換都涉及到通信。無錫風力風機制造有限公司傳動單元的控制需要與整個風場的通訊網絡相連，就需要大范圍，高速，可靠的通訊，所以DP在其中就承擔了至關重要的角色。但是在實際情況中，存在一個問題，控制變流器的控制器只能提供CAN通信的接口，和Profibus通信網絡相連遇到了兩種總線協議標準共存的問題。（圖/文http://www.1stinclocks.com/）

In wind power, converter, converter and fan tower data exchange between both relates to communication. The transmission unit control need and the wind field communication network connected, requires a large range, high speed, reliable communication, so the DP which assume a crucial role. But in practice, there exists a problem, control converter controller can only provide a CAN communication interface, and Profibus communication network connected across two bus protocol standard coexistence problem.
